Modernising a Legacy ConTech Brand for Digital-First Growth

Zutec is a ConTech and PropTech software business operating in a complex, highly regulated market. As Head of Content & Campaigns, I owned the content strategy, driving brand growth, engagement, and commercial impact. Working closely with sales, product, and customers, I delivered integrated campaigns that built pipeline, generated demand, and strengthened market presence. A core focus was a company-wide rebrand. Operating as a house of brands had created confusion, so I led the consolidation of three brands into a single, cohesive identity. This modernised a 20+ year legacy business and aligned it with evolving digital and regulatory expectations. I also directed the end-to-end website redesign, covering strategy, UX, copy, design, testing, and optimisation to improve clarity, engagement, and conversion. Results were central throughout. I led the SEO migration pre- and post-rebrand, achieving strong SERP rankings and AI snippet placements, with organic activity contributing 21% of inbound marketing–attributed deals and traffic reaching SaaS benchmarks. Campaigns exceeded MQL targets, delivered a 60%+ MQL-to-SQL conversion rate (vs. 13% industry average), and drove 50% of new business sales in FY25. Bringing PR in-house increased referral backlinks and traffic by 200% in six months.
